How do I get a Noble Onyx Polygon Pet for free?

The good news is that the first three rarities of Polygon Pet (Noble Onyx, Majestic Pearl, and Royal Sapphire) will cost nothing to claim for those who complete our dedicated tasks! What’s the catch? It’s simple: the higher the rarity of the Polygon Pets, the harder it is to obtain… but the higher the utility of your pet!

Although the window has closed for your ability to earn a Noble Onyx Polygon Pet, you still have the chance to earn a Majestic Pearl rarity pet, the latest we’ve announced!

How to get your Noble Onyx Polygon Pet:

1. We’ll be opening our Forj Shop a week after the close of the whitelist submission form, where you’ll be able to claim your Polygon Pet for free. You’ll be limited to one pet, delivered via a Polygon Pets Mystery Box! You will only know which of our three available Polygon Pets you’ve got after opening the box.

2. Open your Polygon Pets Mystery Box in the Mystery Box section in the Pets dApp to see who you’ve got!

Note! The total amount of Noble Onyx Pets minted will be defined by the number of eligible entrants, meaning this is a limited edition series with rarity determined by the number of successful whitelisted participants.

Utilities will range all the way up to entry to a dedicated Pets metaverse game experience in The Sandbox. Stay tuned for more announcements!

Meet the Polygon Pets

Paarja

Paarja is the Maelstrom of Kerjag and a proud storm prince of Ventus, the Prime Elemental Realm of Air. He has dominion over all elements that serve the storms — the rain, the clouds, the lightning, and all that dwells in their company. He originally came to the Mortal Realm to catch his runaway sister, but has since abandoned his duty to enjoy a ‘vacation’ in a foreign realm to avoid his responsibilities as a storm prince.

Kaali

Based on a Clouded Leopard, Kaali is a disgraced storm princess of Ventus, the Prime Elemental Realm of Air. After an adventure into the dead world of Inanis, the Prime Elemental Realm of Shadow, her essence as an elemental was corrupted by the dark energies of the realm through a battle with the younger Shadow Queen. Now a hybrid elemental of both storm and shadow, she belongs to neither Ventus or Inanis, and has since run away to the Mortal Realm to escape the ridicule of her peers.

Baiyun

Based on an Indian Leopard, Baiyun is a companion to both Paarja and Kaali. Despite being only a newer entity than both, the two insist on treating him like a little brother, going as far as to spoil him despite the disapproval of their
“family”. Trained as a messenger from his inception by the Storm Court, Baiyun is skilled and quick on his feet, often delivering messages all throughout Ventus in a matter of days. His carefree personality has earned him a lot of companions and trouble in equal measure, but one thing is certain: to bring harm to Baiyun is to invite the wrath of the storm prince and the storm princess themselves.

August 10th, 2022 – Metaprints continues to build in the metaverse, as well as bringing brands and their communities into them as well. Tomorrow, August 11th is a big day as we have Polygon and Forj Social Hub Pass sales at 12pm EST/4pm UTC! 

To begin, you can see if you have been whitelisted by following the details below.

1. Go to the whitelist confirmation page: whitelist.forj.network
2. Connect your wallet.
3. If you are whitelisted, the sale details will appear on the page.

If you missed the latest update from our previous announcement with Phala, the technical roadmap for The Sandbox has changed there will be a slightly longer wait for truly private, gated experiences for Social Hub Pass holders. 

The ability to allow NFT-specific gating for experiences is on track for Q1 of 2023 and our first iteration of branded experiences, brought via The Sandbox’s Game Maker platform, will be open to explore for everyone.

For that reason, we’re making sure our Social Hub Pass holders get a whole lot more bang for their buck while they wait! Only Social Hub Pass holders will be able to win exclusive rewards from holding pass(es) and taking part in the games, in addition to receiving free, branded items airdropped to them!

New Utility: Token Rewards

Similar to alpha season pass, Social Hub Pass holders will have the opportunity to complete games and quests to rank in our leaderboard and earn enhanced rewards including $mSAND (Matic network), $mBONDLY, and other partner tokens! 

Each brand partner’s Social Hub will have a pool of $1,000 USD worth of tokens per month that can be won by participants. We will have an updated winners board where players can check and see their ranking, with rewards distributed monthly using the following breakdown: 

• Gold: $300 USD of $mBONDLY or $300 USD $mSAND
• Silver: $200 USD of $mBONDLY or $200 USD $mSAND
• Bronze: $100 USD of $mBONDLY or $100 USD $mSAND
• Fastest: $150 USD of $mBONDLY or $150 USD $mSAND 
• 5 other winners, randomly selected by a 3rd part adjudicator- $50 USD each of $mBONDLY or $mSAND

Quests will be won by completing courses the fastest or collecting the most hidden items! (More details to come as we get closer to the launch of the Social Hubs.) 

That means Social Hub Pass holders can really immerse themselves in the Play-to-Earn revolution sweeping GameFi and the Metaverse space.

New Utility: Monthly Item Drops

Holders can now expect not only a 10% discount on branded asset sales and priority access to these sales, but enhanced rewards including no less than 3 free, airdropped branded items on Polygon in Q3 (when permitted) on Sandbox and Decentraland.

As we prepare our users to hang out in the Social Hubs, we have planned monthly wearables drops that the community can flaunt in the Hubs while we slowly release more experiences in different metaverses. 

The wearables, developed by the Metaprints team, will be dropped into your wallet as long as you hold a Social Hub pass. There will be something new every month for 3 months, ranging from wearables and weapons, to shields and vehicles. Because you deserve it!

These airdrops will commence after all sale phases have been completed and holders of all assets will also get legendary items. That good news also extends to holders of Genesis NFT(s) as they will receive a percentage of secondary sales as revenue in the months to come! 

Governance

Vote on the creative direction of assets being produced in The Sandbox for the brand(s) that you hold pass(es) for.

What are the Eligibility Requirements and Sales Mechanics?

These sales will take place on the Forj Launchpad (dapp.forj.network/market) on August 11th at 12pm EST/4pm UTC.

The following groups will be eligible for prioritized purchase rights:

1. Genesis NFT holders and those on the whitelist.

2. Buyers who hold either $100 worth of $BONDLY tokens OR $100 worth of the partner’s native token, $MATIC, on our snapshot date (August 10th at 12pm EST).

*Note: Staked tokens do not count toward the $100 minimum. The Social Hub Pass corresponding to the brand will only give you access to that brand’s Social Hub within The Sandbox and Decentraland (once available) —  1 pass for 1 project’s Social Hub. For example, owners of the Polygon Social Hub Pass will not be eligible to enter the Kylin branded experience, only the dedicated Polygon one.

What Tokens can be Used to Purchase Social Hub Passes?

Since the prices of the passes are denominated in USD, please make sure you have enough $BONDLY or Polygon’s token, $MATIC, so you don’t miss out!. 

The price of the passes in both $BONDLY and our partner project’s native token will be pegged on the morning of the sale. Don’t forget to also leave enough balance to pay for gas!
